Both the GEOTEST head office in Zollikofen and the six other branch offices are centrally located and easily accessible by both public transport and private vehicle. For field work, we use our company-owned fleet of vehicles and personal Mobility Business subscriptions.
All employees have a personal working area.
All our employees are equipped with a state-of-the-art business laptop and comprehensive remote access. This makes it easy to work on the road or at home, and employees of many functions make use of this possibility occasionally.
As an additional mobility incentive, all employees receive an SBB Half-Fare subscription, a national flat-rate calling plan and a contribution towards the cost of their mobile phone.
The advancement of our employees is extremely important to us. We therefore support our employees in their personal development. In the course of regular appraisal meetings, areas for development are jointly identified and appropriate measures are agreed upon.
GEOTEST participates generously in various forms of individual training and further training projects. In this way we ensure the competency of our employees for challenging tasks.
We support the individual well-being of our employees. For this reason, we encourage physical exercise as a balance to work activity. For example, we sponsor participation in various sporting events (e.g. the SOLA relay race), we have an in-house Yoga and Pilates course, and we participate in the nationwide “Bike to work” initiative.
Showers are available on our premises – for after jogging during the lunch break or commuting to work by bike.
We are committed to a fair, simply structured and, as far as possible, market-driven wage policy. The individual annual salary is determined on the basis of function-based criteria and is of course independent of gender. The rule is: equal pay for equal work. In this respect, GEOTEST is regularly audited by independent inspection agencies. In addition to receiving a 13th-month salary, employees are paid a bonus depending on the success of the company. The fringe benefits are transparent for all employees.

Accident insurance and sick pay
In the event of an illness or accident, our employees receive their continued salary payments for a period that is longer than the national average.
Employees with children benefit from an additional childcare allowance offered by GEOTEST. The allowance is linked to the existing national child and education allowances (maximum age 26 years), but is dependent on the number of hours worked.
