The Hydrogeology & Geothermal Energy team visited its long-standing partner company Stämpfli AG in Langnau im Emmental. The focus was on technical exchange, close cooperation with the drilling masters and a shared vision of sustainable, high-quality well construction.

This year's event organised by GEOTEST AG's Hydrogeology & Geothermal Energy division took us to Langnau in the Emmental region to visit Stämpfli AG. The company is a partner in numerous projects, particularly in the preliminary investigation of groundwater heat utilisation. This often involves exploratory drilling, which is then developed into small filter wells. Close cooperation between the geological expert and the drilling company, especially the drilling foreman, is of central importance. In most cases, this enables the professional construction of high-performance wells as the basis for sustainable heat extraction.

The exchange of information, the needs of both parties and the feedback from the drilling foreman are essential. We were able to talk to Roman Stalder (CEO), Daniel Stauffer (Head of Specialised Civil Engineering), Kurt Zihlmann-Banz (Specialised Civil Engineering Site Manager/Drilling Supervisor) and Rolf Geber (Specialised Civil Engineering Site Manager/Drilling Supervisor) and discuss our mutual requirements. Rolf Gerber and Kurt Zihlmann-Banz answered numerous questions and also outlined the requirements for the geological expert.

Events like this promote the exchange of knowledge and contribute to successful future cooperation.
