GEOFEST 2025 – Looking to the future with curiosity
After the welcome by the executive management, the focus was first on looking back at the first half of the year. In addition, the goals and priorities for 2025 were presented. A particular highlight: the GEOTEST gene – working together, with honesty and curiosity. This year, everything revolved around curiosity as the driving force behind collaboration, innovation, and personal growth in our daily work.
In the subsequent workshop, curiosity became a tangible experience. In various formats, employees discussed what fuels or hinders their curiosity at work and gathered ideas on how it can be encouraged in the workplace. The conversations were lively and often surprising – leading to many new connections being made. It was a productive and inspiring morning that left everyone wanting more.
We live curiosity at multiple: in project work, in finding sustainable solutions and in collaborating with others.
After lunch, groups set out on exploration tours: from the Swiss Museum of Transport to the Glacier Garden, the civil defense shelter in the Sonnenberg tunnel, or an exciting Foxtrail adventure – everyone had the chance to discover Lucerne from a new perspective.
Back at the Lido, Marco Arni honored our long-standing employees. In addition to celebrating 5-, 10-, 30-, and 35-year anniversaries, we also said goodbye to those who have entered their well-deserved retirement.
After a delicious dinner, the fun really kicked off: in the photo bus, with quirky glasses, hats, and plenty of accessories, we got to know each other from a whole new side. In the end, we left with full stomachs, lots of laughter – and a great sense of curiosity.
Curiosity about what else we can discover – in our (and other) business areas, in projects, in our work, but also about each other.
And of course, curiosity about how the photo bus antics turned out in pictures.

Fun memories from the photo booth – with hats, glasses, and lots of good vibes, GEOFEST 2025 came to an end.
